SKD Fergo Toops it's just part of being a Roosters winger, you just do some really dumb stuff at times.

Toops is always good for at least 1 dropped ball on the first tackle in his own quarter.....and generally right after we score points. That ball carry always worries me....but i think he is running harder these days which is seeing him make great post tackle metres rather than being pushed back. I really don't think he knows how good he can be....i think he still has plenty of upside if he can get his confidence right.
Besides that i've met the guy socially a couple of times and he is a great bloke- really nice fella and very humble

You've got to love Toups, even if you lose hair doing it. I do believe I saw him utter a four letter word after his hands let him down once in the second half. But all things considered he came in to snuff out some dangerous attack and was there for the try of the week. I did get a laugh late in the game when Keary through another cut out high ball and Aubbo (who was tireless throughout) was nowhere to be seen filling in on Morris's wing. Now if it was Toupo?

Well said, he has been more good than bad. We soon forget horrorshows like Justin Carney

If Toops didn't have those mistakes in his game, we probably wouldn't be able to afford to keep him.. Think about that lol..

That debacle on the side line... And also why didn't he try to run the ball around closer to the sticks after that lovely try he scored from the Keary kick. No manly player anywhere in site... But didn't even look around. I think he was just amazed at the try???
He could have taken that under the posts???
There was no way he could have taken it under the posts. If you watch the replay, he was moving pretty quickly and grounded the ball just short of the deadball line. He would had to have turned at almost 90 degrees, in the wet and at speed near the deadball line to put it under the posts. Attempting that would have been recipe for disaster.
