Lucky win. Another 10 minutes and Manly we’re home. We just ran out of juice but our forwards had no go firward and way too many missed tackles and allowing them to offload. Latrell and Tedesco played well but second half was a capitulation.

tedesco - wow this guy has the best hands in the nrl ?? amazing attacking the ball and holding it.
poor second half but we had noone on the bench so i think it can be excused.
lam went ok, defence is good , but i get this feeling the long term plan is latrell to 5/8 th so he doesnt leave and we can give him 1 mill a year ??
overall im a happy camper with 1/2 ...
Latrell was awful tonight, didn’t bother getting involved after that 40/20.

Not sure what was lucky about it.

We dominated the first 40 minutes with a depleted spine.

Manly only came into the contest with 30mins to go when we had to significantly reshuffle the team and only had one man on the bench.

Manly had a lot of luck and failed to capatalise.

            Great game .
I hope Morris is OK ? I had my doubts but I think he's a good buy.
We went to sleep but understandable with the injuries and Keary going off etc.
            I enjoyed beating Manly

              30 errors in two weeks.

And mid 60s % completion rates both weeks.

That's some serious rust so 1-1 is a damn good start.

I'll take any win at Brookvale thank you very much.

So it had nothing to do with all the injuries during the game.

Can someone start a gameday thread? I want to add my much awaited comments.

                  Ok, this one will do.

A much improved display on Week 1. Tough and resolute and guys playing big minutes with injuries etc. The conductor again was Keary...what a champignon. Cooper who?

The forwards esp JWH, Rads, Boyd laid the foundations and didn't stop. They were herculean.

Lachie Lam....the highlight of the game for me was seeing the emotion of the young lad and those close to him. Brilliant stuff. On the park, he looked good, real good. Tough defence with classy touches incl kicks. He has it all in front of him now.

Toups is in for a big year.

Latrell needs a little wake up call. Farmer Silly needs to show more, not sure with him.

                  Nice little building block win.

Surely Latrell doesn't start at 5/8 again. Other than the 40/20 he went missing in attack. Much better suited to the centres.

Abit of a hot head in defense, trying to carry on abit

Two serious rain events a contributing factor in completions

agree. Any win at chip stealer stadium is a win earned

I'm not sold on Collins and Farmer. Do they contribute much?
Are we better off with a bench of:

                        Liu
                        Tets
                        Aubs
                        Butcher

Surely there's a good young prop out there.

Wish the Roosters still had Ray Moujalli.
