Spoke to Willie today, he hasn't signed with anyone and is confidant of staying, btw he had a blinder today in a beaten side.

He always plays very well for Newtown. Has offloading ability probably at the same level as Takairangi. He'll tackle himself to a standstill when he's playing tight and is very quick for a backrower. I know we have an abundance of second rowers, but I think if he stays he'll be pushing for a position at lock. If he is kept it will probably be for depth in the centres which is a shame because he showed in firsts this year that the backrow is his position. But if he works on his speed considerably in the pre season and his handling when hitting hard lines he may prove a very handy more experienced centre replacement for any injuries that crop up on either side of the field throughout the year.
