    Ricko?!

One way of looking at it is guys who have played 300+ but never played rep footy. I think Morris and Sutton might qualify. Heighington played for England, so don't know if that counts. Mannering I rate.

      What about this from lurker

On the face of it, South Sydney’s visit to Albury to take on a Riverina selection last Saturday week was a great advertisement for the game and a shot in the arm for bush footy.

But I’ve been told that the Bunnies played hard ball with the cash-starved country mob to get the game on.

Riverina had to pay all Souths’ travelling costs, accommodation and meals - a big ask by a multi-million dollar NRL club from a bush league outfit.

As a result, Riverina barely made a profit out of what should have been their biggest fundraising day of the year in an area where league faces a cut-throat battle with cashed-up AFL and needs all the help it can get.

I think Sutton would be lucky to tie the shoe laces of those other players you mention,

How things have changed. Oh wait.. they haven’t.

For the record, Inglis escaped conviction and only got a 2 match club ban returning for the Chooks game (he scored 2) then went on to win the 2009 GF with the Storm (later stripped) and played for Australia in a winning series where he was awarded Aus best player and then also the 2009 Golden Boot.

From April 2010: (just before the Storm were stripped of their premierships)

“Last month, Inglis's eight-month legal battle ended when he accepted a diversion order in a Melbourne magistrates court.

He agreed to pay $3000 to a women's health organisation and attend a behavioural change program.

The charge of recklessly causing injury was withdrawn, while the assault charge was dealt with through the diversion program.”

              Ouch, that feather hurt!
              ..it’ll be interesting to see

300 games in the NRL is an amazing achievment. Certainly not all that get there are great players but like you say credit where it is due. Im not a Sutton fan but i do think he goes ok

Ha. Funny thing is the pair have a lot in common off the field. Both been naughty boys apparently!
Rothwit has just cottoned on to it.

Souffs are deadset giving the Catholic Church a run for their money as the most vile organisation on the planet atm. George Pell wouldn't look out of place as their CEO. i think pell might be a bit out of circulation rfor a while, hed spend too long with the juniors anyway?

Totally agree SJ. Howard’s reference for Pell up there with greenturds for GI as one of the worst examples of judgment.
