  • Another Season and the Drongos hype has started

As a lifelong devout Roosters man who has had the misfortune to spend a good three quarters of it in Bris Vegas I thought I had grown immune to the Drongos horse shit. So yesterday’s story in the Broncos bible AKA the Courier Mail that basically said the Drongos NRL rivals will be quivering in fear after there stunning flogging of a QLD Cup team really got up my nose. I can’t explain why it shit me so much, maybe that their hubris is beyond comprehension or just because they have that smudge ‘it’s never my fault’ tosser Seibold. Granted they have a good young pack but Seriously I can’t wait to the world champions hammer them.

I'm expecting a big year from them. Think milf will go better under seibold than bennett. If their big man are allowed to use their ball skills it will add a new dimension to their attack. Plus, those young forwards coming through look the goods. My top 4 is roosters, Penrith, Brisbane and Newcastle.

The post is about the Broncos, not the Dragons

I am really looking forward to a Broncos and Seibold failure of a year.
                That would be very nice

So many young forwards though. They will struggle with injuries, you just can't expect a pack that young to see out 24 rounds of hard NRL footy without their being repercussions on the injury front.

Exceptional amount of talent but really missing some seasoned pro's in that forward pack, can't believe they released Josh Mcguire.

I believe they will be strong along with Souths & Penrith.
Saints & the Cowboys should also be there abouts. Newcastle & Manly have the potential to finish in the 8.

Manly with Des back at the helm and a well recruited Knights team will move up the ladder. Move up but not win the comp.

Over the off-season, there have been a disproportionate number of articles at NRL.com about the groncos - thank heavens I'm not exposed to the courier mail. I can't stand the groncos and I would enjoy seeing them miss the finals this year and the next and the next ...

Glenn and Gillette will play 80. Pangai will get 65+. Sua and ofahengaue have been blooded and can start to play bigger minutes. I'm expecting a really big year from lodge. I think he could be the best prop in the game shortly. It's really just haas that is a good year and a half away. I'm thinking Maguire was on the outer with the playing group for a while

I don't see Glenn playing close to 80 on an edge as they have Gillett, Sua and Fifita to give solid minutes too.

Gillett will when he's back to full fitness but the other two will take big minutes from Glenn who I'm not sure where he'll play tbh.
