Not sure about that? Glebe never won a competition.

I am doing some minor work behind the scenes with the Glebe Dirty Reds.

In three years we have made some great progress and are now the feeder to Newtown. Two former Roosters will line up for them this season (Anthony Cherrington & Ben Jones).

Their resurrection has been a great story for rugby league.

Glebe will forever despise Souffs for conspiring to have them kicked out of the competition in 1929.

Glebe have also teamed up with Sydney Uni, who will be their feeder team.

Another former first grade club that has resurrected. It's not all doom and gloom in grassroots rugby league!

i think maybe stephen made a typo and he meant that we won our first premiership against Glebe. In fact, we had to beat them in a final, then beat them again the week after to win the comp, due to a quirk with how the comp was back then (teams got points for winning in finals matches. We went into the final two points behind Glebe, so the victory brought us level and thus we had to play them the week after to determine the eventual premiers)

thanks for the benefit of the doubt im getting older and although i wasnt around then i can easily get some of my facts wrong, i do still remember some games vividly though, my time following easts started as a local paddo boy living near rthe sports ground id wizz inside the open gates at half time then eventually talked mum and dad into going to the footy and paying for the full game! the last game i remember mum and dad with me was the 75 grand final behind the goal posts at the randwick end! a game never to forget!
