        Only 26 players.
        Preliminary only
Main squad all but finalised prior to season start
Final squad confirmed by 30th June

With 26 at this point, it allows leeway to assess players during trials and a spot (if salary cap compliant) to buy someone should they come on the market.

The club has played it smart then.
We keep a spot open till june 30 in case of injury. You never know whats happening with the player market these days.

              Is that how it works?
Be interesting to see who gets the 3 spots, and if Lewis and Smith come back ok from their injuries.

Raiders will be looking to sign a winger to replace Rapana for half the season (coming out of their 2020 cap). Seriously, WTF are those flogs up to?

They leave it at 26 so that some flogs on here can start threads saying that the Roosters are about to sign someone.

So while most of us were getting excited about the start of the season our resident Junkie Jim the Jailbird, the guy who would like to break into your house and steal your tv and toaster, Mickey Lane is at it again. Here is his latest beauty.

Kane proved that doesnt seem to be much of a liability in the NSW cup.
