They just keep coming...but this one gives me a special kick up.

JWH has busted himself for years now and not really got worthy praise. Especially from the national team side of things.

      Well done champ.

This just shows the value of a great coach.

JWH never excelled in the International arena under legitimate mongs in Kearney & Kidwell.

But then Madge arrives and JWH takes his game to the next level - performing for the Kiwis like he has at the Roosters for years.

Very happy for my favourite Rooster.

JWH has always been a favourite player. I also think the most important too, forwards lay the platform.

JWHs new nickname should be Andre the Giant because he's on a winning streak that'd make Andre in his prime rather proud.

What greater compliment could there possibly be to JWH, that in a team consisting of the likes of Teddy, Latrell, Keary, Cronk and Cordner, it is the big man up front who is our most important player.

                So happy for him.

He has always struggled to perform at international level and you can see how much playing for NZ means for him so it wouldn't have been easy.

He had a significant off season surgery, copped a lot in the press at the begining of the season for being out of form and coming off the bench but he finishes the season with a grand final ring and recognised as the Kiwis best and fairest.

Loved watching his development over the past decade, will go down as one of the greats in the RW&B

Huge year for JWH, hope they all keep the hunger for next year, could arguably be one of the greatest teams we have seen play.

Not sure he could even come close to the giants 6 bottles of red wine a night, or his 120 beer session. If you are an Andre fan, I’m sure you would enjoy the documentary that was on SBS a few weeks ago. Pretty sad life he had actually.

I have indeed seen the doco.

An extraordinary man who had to endure too much.

I would have loved a night on the piss with him!

didnt realise just how much he actually ran wrestling, worst thing for him was when they had to hang a sheet in front of him when he had to use the toilet because he was to big to use the regular ones.

The Roosters would not have won the comp this year if they didnt have JWH. He was the most important player in the 17.

I seen him wrestle Bruiser Brodie years ago at Flemington markets.Brodie was about 6 foot 8 and 140kg,Andre lifted him above his head and dropped him out of the ring onto what was a concrete floor so basically an 11 foot fall.now that must have hurt. Amazing athletes and showmen.

How good was the wrestling at Flemington markets on a Friday night in the early 80's. It was called World Championship Wrestling. They would wrestle in the studios of channel 9 on the week ends & then on certain Friday nights they would have the championship belt nights. Ronnie Miller, Larry O'Dea, Brute Benard, Steve Rachman, Haystacks Calhoun, Killer Kowalski, Killer Karl Kox, King Curtis, Mario Milano & of course Andre the Giant. I saw him live.
Some of the moves were the Abdominal Stretch, the Atomic Drop, Flying Head Scissors, the Sleeper Hold, Indian Death Lock, Japanese Chop and the Butcher’s Axe.
I was 13 or 14 at the time & I used to love it.
