It is a BS rumour. If it were true the players would be revolting against Smith not Carney. It is Carney who is to blame. Nah, he broke the rules, such as they were, and gave them a reason to sack him...[after they finally decided Anasta wasn't a forward and wanted to play 5/8] ...so didn't need him anymore.

Nah, he'll play again. Its early days, but there'll be another club with another plan for his management that satisfies the NRL, if it hasn't happened already. I don't think any club would be brave enough to admit to signing him just yet, though. Something for the off season, maybe.
