Its a team sport, and if Carney's behavoiur is affecting the team performance because he is not being part of the team mentality, then he should go. He has let his team mates down badly this year - on and off the field.
I don't think its co-incidence that the players looked to be enjoying themselves and really putting in during the last 4 rounds WITHOUT Carney and Myles. If they weren't happy with these players being dumped, it would've shown on the field.Comment

If it is the senior group that decide whether he gets the sack then I have an issue. We know the senior group set the booze ban yet atleast three players that we know of have broken ranks and decided to have a drink with unconfirmed report of others. Does anyone honestly know who were/are part of the senior group? We are assuming Mini, Anasta, Myles, Ryles and Perrett. Apart from Perrett, none of the others are likely to be here beyond 2012. Do they have 100% support from the team? Are their interests 100% in the team or is there an element on selfishness behind Toddy leaving? I hope the club also consider the opinions of future leaders such as Pearce, Kennedy, Maubs, SKD etc. The last four weeks will mean nothing if the current senior group lack any confidence from the younger brigade.Originally posted by Fleabag Fletch View PostComment
