Carney is gone and I don't want Anasta in the forwards.

      Anasta by default.
Who exactly? Both mini and braith have gave came out and said he can earn the respect back!

I'm no Roosters insider. This is just the word in the media, what is being rumoured and what is being posted on forums. None of which a 100% reliable, but where there is that much smoke there is fire.

Of course the players wouldn't come out publicly and state they want Carney gone. Hanging shit on your mate is not the Australian way. You don't voice that sort of opinion publicly and nor should you.

Why do mini and braith have any say in this anyway? Thats the bit I don't get. Neither are long term propositions themselves and should be more worried about what they'll be doing in 2013 than trying to have other players sacked.

They don't but why shouldn't they, it was the leadership group that came up with the ban, why not them play a part in deciding his fate?

As members of the senior playing group, the theory is, they represent the team as a whole. Like it or not, Anasta is the captain and as such should have a say - as should his team mates.

Its a team sport, and if Carney's behavoiur is affecting the team performance because he is not being part of the team mentality, then he should go. He has let his team mates down badly this year - on and off the field.

I don't think its co-incidence that the players looked to be enjoying themselves and really putting in during the last 4 rounds WITHOUT Carney and Myles. If they weren't happy with these players being dumped, it would've shown on the field.

Well yes, I do understand all that Fleabag. It was more of a rhetorical question really, to point out the irony of braith and mini supposedly wanting someone sacked when they themselves have been pretty ordinary.

If it is the senior group that decide whether he gets the sack then I have an issue. We know the senior group set the booze ban yet atleast three players that we know of have broken ranks and decided to have a drink with unconfirmed report of others. Does anyone honestly know who were/are part of the senior group? We are assuming Mini, Anasta, Myles, Ryles and Perrett. Apart from Perrett, none of the others are likely to be here beyond 2012. Do they have 100% support from the team? Are their interests 100% in the team or is there an element on selfishness behind Toddy leaving? I hope the club also consider the opinions of future leaders such as Pearce, Kennedy, Maubs, SKD etc. The last four weeks will mean nothing if the current senior group lack any confidence from the younger brigade.

Carnage at 6, Bwaiff at 3 or 4. I dont want him in the forwards either. In fact why dont bwaiff and smith pack their shiite and fark off. Let Carney play in 6 without fear of Captain Cocksmoker wanting his spot or Coach Motherfather trying to get away a sly one. No wonder he drinks......

If Carney goes, Anasta stays. IMO it is a massive conflict of interest letting Anasta have any say into the matter.

Okay, now you're talking about Julia Gillard using a strap-on on Bob Brown.
