  • Poll on which 2018 signing made the biggest impact

There are 4 choices on the Roosters website: Cronk, Tedesco, Baptiste and Reece Robinson.

They were all so good, how can you possibly choose??

it has to be Reece. as good as Teddy and Cronk was, they were nothing compared with Robbo jr

Agree...how could you differentiate? If pressed, maybe Baptiste a bald head of the rest.

Tedesco and Cronk brought two different elements to the team . JT gave us what Mini has given us for many years, great defence and bringing the ball back. That certainty at the back gave the team stability and assurance.
What Cronk brought to the team is the confidence and self belief which has been missing for a couple of seasons. His leadership qualities were evident in the semis and GF. In past seasons we might have panicked and lost those tight games, but kudos to Trent for bringing the players together and Cronk for leading them to a great victory

Cronk because he didn't just improve our game, his absence weakened the Storm. While Teddy will have mich better numbers on the board, Cronk does an amazing amount of work off the ball that cannot be quanfified so well but was the difference between winning and losing all 3 finals games (and they were all epic contests against extremely physical teams!!!)

IMO Teddy's still developing and the best of him lies ahead. The Tigpies were blessed with natural talent and did nothing with it (just made all the stars play ad-lib footy). Teddy's developing much better team awareness and organisational skills that will make him a generational hero in years to come if he continues to develop.

It's great to have Teddy in the Red, White and Blue and the stuff up with RTS could turn out to be a blessing in disguise over the next few seasons because the upside with Tedesco (a Rooster through and through) will be far more IMO than we would have got with Roger.

Reece Robinson. Robbos love child applied the pressure to Tedesco that developed him into the worlds best fullback.

Hard to separate Cronk and Teddy.
On the other end of the scale, theres not much between Robinson and Baptiste either.

One spent too much time on bench

the other should never have got up

I'd like to know who actually voted for R Robinson and/or Baptiste. R Robinson 3% - that must be the 3% who never actually watched a game!

Teddy was bloody everywhere and looked dangerous most times he touched the ball as well as organising our defence.

Has to be Cronk, it can't be underestimated the influence he had on the whole team.
Everyone knows what they are supposed to do, but Cronk can do it under intense pressure during the game.
He has not only been terrific in getting us a premiership, but the knowledge he is passing on to the rest of the team will set us up for the next decade.
