  • Sad Day to see the NRL so openly CORRUPT.

This competition has gone to the dogs. I began getting suspicious with the amount of ‘close’ matches. I think there’s a lot of rigging going on and it’s all about the $$ not Rugby League anymore.

Slater getting off was the last straw. A rooster player would have been suspended in 10 minutes. The bunker, the refs and judiciary have all been directed and controlled by outside influence and are not acting within the rules. They do as they please and couldn’t care less about justice. The storm got the most penalties this year. Slater got exonerated for a blatant shoulder charge. What more proof does anyone want that the GF is rigged for a Melbourne fairytale?

I’m very disheartened that there’s no real justice even in a judicial, body and so much corruption exists in our game. Only forming a new competition could save our game but after this it seems that unless you are the chosen one no matter what you do you won’t win the GF. It just is so engineered like the wrestling.

Dont think ill watch the GF as the script is already written. MOTM= Slater, CC medal = Slater and storm declared the greatest team ever for winning a double premiership. What’s the point when it’s already been decided. I’d love to be wrong but I also wished the judiciary wouldn't’ act corruptly but they did.

It’s been corrupt for while now. Betting agencies and TV rights are to blame. It’s about selling the game but through their greed and hunger for power they have exposed themselves.

The FIX in rugby league was evepident when souffs won the 2014 premiership and in many ways 2018 is shaping up the same way for the Storm.

For everything there is a sign. The fact so much has been done to ensure a storm gf win is a sign that it’s not just about sentimentality. For a juducuary to issue a corrupt decision to me is proof there is big, big bucks in a storm win and organised crime are in everything and all sports. I remember years ago, phone numbers of known organised crime figures were found on nrl players phones.

          Disgraceful

Questions should be asked as to whether other sporting organisations would have allowed this? Would the AFL or A-League have bent the rules so openly? Cricket Australia took a hard stance against Steve Smith and Warner.

The NRL prefer to make money by selling a fairytale.

I think the judiciary decision tonight proved beyond a doubt corruption is rife in the system.

He was always going to get off.

The NRL defended the indefensible when he got player of the origin series, so this was an absolute no-brainer!

They were always going to make sure he got to his final big dance...

i agree It is the big betting by organised crime on Melbourne Storm to win the GF that you have alleged in another thread to have read that prompted my responses

Don't know what you all are seeing/reading on your own accounts. But on my social media acounts everyone is (mostly non roosters fans) blowing up about the decision. Lots of anti-Slater and anti-NRL remarks about this. Glad that it isn't just us roosters fans that are up in arms about this sham

It's been corrupted ever since the Dirty Digger got involved with it.

I chose not to use invective only because of legal reasons.

By having such a system that arrived at that decision...basically in contravention of the judiciary Chairman's directive...the NRL has to expect such accusations.
