I was thinking all week that apart from our GF appearances and even more so in some instances, that last nights game was probably our biggest and most important game since 1975. The players unavailable, the opposition and our history with them and the fact that it was our last game at what was our home ground for the last 30years made it an amazingly special event. All we need now is to cap it off with the big prize next week.

This team is full of spirit. I expected that win but we still had to do the job and the defense was fantastic. I think we should pay tribute to the coaching and Robbo here. Manu's brilliance and toughness. Frank Winterstein did us a huge favour last year and Manu has come back bigger and better than ever. A match winner and his combination with Ferguson - just brilliant. How good was that try. And it broke the deadlock. We should have won that game easier but we did it hard and with an injured playmaker. But that's what champion teams are made of. And this is a champion team. Proud to be a Rooster - you bet!
