Shut down Reynolds and Cook, and we have some chance.

Our team is far from our best.
    We'll miss Napa and Latrell.

We need to make effective tackles and stop offloads.

    Dummy and run...BANG!
    Would save many tries.
And how do you shut down Reynolds? The guy never even runs the ball. You dominate their pack.

for sure they want early points,

Both Ikuvalu and Momirovski on the extended bench... anyone sense Robbo pulling a swifty and starting one of them at left centre?

It won't be popular but I wouldn't be aggrieved to see Ikuvalu on the bench. If we lose one of our back 3 early then all of a sudden we'd look like last years Prelim team with 2 backrowers in the centres.

No chance. Matto can cover for the backs if someone goes down. You don’t use a rookie in a prelim unless there is a major crisis.

Need Victor to take out Reynolds, ala Sims on Cronk. Problem is, Reynolds only touches the ball on the 5th tackle for a kick.

Reynolds isn’t a ball runner,he relies on his kicking game to justify his spot in the side!

We need to stop their forwards and hooker, the rest will take care of itself.

He'll get the ball eventually from a pass to attempt to score a try.
If no one's on him all game he will likely score the match-winning try.
He must be covered all game...all game.

. Just hope Tedesco , Keary and Cronk have some set moves that will work magic and put the vermin out of their misery.

If he hadn’t kicked 3 field goals last week you would not be mentioning Reynolds. He is predictable.

Tets agro off the bench will be a big factor. We can’t just rely on Jarred, he is one of 10 forwards. They all have a job to do.
Mate don’t kid yourself, their forwards aren’t battered or bruised. They will come out 200 miles per hour and if we aren’t ready for them than Cronk and Teddy won’t make a difference. These type of games are won in the middle and they have had two hard semis to condition themselves while we had an average game against the Sharks and now have a team with suspensions to key players and forwards with injuries including now Jake. I think our bench is average and would rather bring Taukieaho off the bench with Tetevano. If Jake is injured than Rads to hooker Aubo to backrow and ikivalu to centre.

Um what? The week off is a massive advantage. Why do you think we are $1.70 favourites despite missing our best attacking player and goal kicker? Because we had a week off instead of playing a desperate semi against the dragons. No doubt their forwards will be feeling the pinch. It’s our biggest advantage.

Geez I just realised we have to win the whole thing. Storm B2B? Yuck. Souffs premiers twice inbetween our premierships? Disgusting.

Even the bloody sharks have a title since our last. IT MUST BE DONE.
