Anyone else not feeling it?

Feels a lot like last year. We've failed to produce 80 minute for more that 2 games straight all season.

Maybe we find form in the Finals and hit our straps with 3 games to go.

Seems a little unrealistic.

Someone posted it a few weeks ago and it explains everything to me - Robbo is a defensive coach. Our defence has held for years, but our attack is always slightly off key.

Anything could happen but I'm thinking it won't.

Wasn’t Robbo our atttacking coach in 2010? I seem to remember everyone wanting to give him the credit for our attack that year. I think people have him unfairly pegged as just a defensive coach.

I do agree though our attack has been out of sorts for a while. I think it never really recovered from the loss of Maloney who was far more important than a lot of people realised at the time.

Its been coming together well this year though, just fell off the rails a bit when Keary got injured. With him and JWH back we should be right for the finals and back to the form of a few weeks ago.

It's hard to feel it when we have the most total errors, the most ineffective tackles (the amount of teams that find ways to get offloads away against us when we have 3 men in the tackle is absurd) and 2nd most handling errors.

We are bound to implode in one of our finals, the best we seem to be able to string together of quality performance is 2 so MAYBE if we can fall over the line this week we can get hot for the prelim and grand final....but yeah not feeling it right now.

I think people aren’t feeling it because the last 3 weeks were underwhelming. 2 losses and an inconclusive win against the parra basket case.

However, injuries were a factor in those games and I also suspect we’ve been holding back a bit the last few weeks so we peak in the finals. I expect Robbo to unleash the fury in the finals. Mind you I expected that last year too but it didn’t quite pan out...

Well we are favourites with the bookies and probably deserve to be but finals are tough, anything can happen. There are 7 teams capable of winning it IMO. All except Saints who may as well head down to the Taj Mahal and start mad Monday now.

Different teams have run hot at different times this year.

Probably the closest minor premiership ever.

I expect the top 4 will be just changing partners for the PFs this year.

We have as good a chance as anyone.

But as someone said in this thread earlier, being a league fan means you get used to not winning premierships very often, after all even Melbourne has only won 2 since 2000 taking out their cheating years.

Seeing Gallen in the press conference go on about our "names" and "star-studded" team stoked the fire of intent for me somewhat.

And as the week and gameday builds Im sure most of you will fire up.

I doubt any club is feeling confident.

Teams 5-8 would all need to go on a winning streak that none have achieved this season. With the exception of the Dragons who won 6 straight earlier this year. But you have to go back to Round 9 to find the last time the Dragons beat a top 8 side.

So realistically you have to think its a race amongst the top 4. Good luck picking a winner out of there though. This weekend will be critical.

I feel the same,the Cowboys loss in last years Prelim will be the driver behind a big performance this week..

We have a point to prove and I think it will show this Saturday night against the drug/cap cheats..

The horse whisperer will have his work cut out when it comes to the prelim. How many has it been now since 2013? 3?

Losing the prelim is the worst. At least if you lose the GF you get the excitement of GF week. Losing the prelim is just one big stinker.
