I don’t care I want to be outraged so I will ignore all those sensible messages that say we’re playing at Allianz.

Yep. Foxtel. Just announced on the Controversy Corner show.

I’m embarrassed to admit I’m watching it. What a bunch of windbags. First and last time....

Or will they go with the best disadvantage for the Roosters?

What if the Sharks were Minor Premiers, would their home ground be 'Sydney' and they be made to play at ANZ?

If the Panthers were Minor Premiers, bet your life they'd be playing their home final at Penrith.
Penrith have been shafted, playing at ANZ.

          we play at Allianz.

Gould would probably not feel shafted, getting the Warriors

Nrl.com says Allianz. However, they seem a little confused about what a qualifying final versus an elimination final is.
                • Elimination Final: Saturday, September 7
                  7.50pm, AAMI Park
                  (2) Melbourne Storm v (3) South Sydney Rabbitohs
                • Qualifying Final: Saturday, September 8
                  5.40pm, ANZ Stadium
                  (5) Penrith Panthers v (8) New Zealand Warriors
                • Qualifying Final: Saturday, September 8
                  7.50pm, Allianz Stadium
                  (1) Sydney Roosters v (4) Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks
                • Elimination Final: Sunday, September 9
                  4.10pm, Suncorp Stadium
                  (6) Brisbane Broncos v (7) St George Illawarra Dragons

Unless Panthers have requested ANZ, the Warriors should have had to play them at Penrith.
They'll get one and a dog at ANZ...they would've packed Penrith stadium.

Seeing as how it's all supposedly about "TV"...it would've made no difference.

Anyway, the Minor Premiers and second should always get their home grounds, no matter where, Kogarah, Brookvale, etc.
Teams that finish out of the top 4 should get whatever the rules are...5 gets home ground as does 7, but take their chances with 'home games'...[.if ANZ stadium members have been promised finals games there, or whatever else the reasons are.]

Radio sports hosts have been speaking favourably about having games at suburban grounds instead of at large and 'empty' stadiums.

Interesting finals series anyway. Very even. Confident we’ll do it but every team except the dragons is capable of winning it.

I wanted Sunday arvo... daytime footy is so much better.

Still we made it...thats the main thing I guess.

Everyone’s having a massive whinge about the NRL but they’ve actually done us a favour by giving us Allianz when they didn’t have to.
                          Thanks for that.

                          "Home city''?
Has anyone seen that written down in the rules?

Fans believe it's "home ground advantage for being Minor Premiers"

It is indeed so much better.

Sat night...all about TV, my guess.
