I wasn't around in the 70's but I'd argue there's been no better time to be alive as a Roosters fan than the era we are living in now with Robbo & Politis at the helm.

Correct the calls will come if at least we don't make it to the GF. After 6 years just one time on the GF? The reason Robbo is still here is probably due to Politis not wanting to have to look for another coach for a while...Mind you there aren't any suitable candidates at the moment. As for the poster calling other idiots, I'm thinking he was one of those not wanting to lose Pearce because the players would not get along and the world would come crashing on us...yep we're all idiots I guess.

4 minor premierships in 6 years is a massive achievement. Best coach in the game. Similar success rate to Bellamy without all the cynical stuff that comes with Bellamy.

The NRL is a strange competition where they play for 25 rounds and then the winner is decided by a completely seperate month long knock out tournament. There’s a massive amount of pot luck involved in winning it given the winner has to get through two sudden death games.

The minor premier deserves more recognition. Anyway it’s a great achievement by Robbo.
