I'd prefer the hobbits, but i just want a home final and no Sutton is that too much to ask?

But it’s there for us. Parra are the wooden spooners. We can flog them.
I forgot about that one but that wasn't a gimme win, we played pretty well in that game but Latrell's misses in that and the Gronkos game were costly.

I was trying to say don't blame Cleary's awful goalkicking for costing us a MP, I would rather blame our listless effort against the Tigpies.

Anyway I couldn't give a rats about finishing first after the double debacle of 2014 and 2015 but the extra day or two to recover would be nice.....

Surely after 2 losses we will come out with a point to prove tomorrow night and blow Parra off the park.
The Rabbits did it last night I’m expecting us to do the same!

Yeah but the 74 and 75 teams were better than the rest of the comp by the length of the Flemington Straight.

Finish top 2 and you should shorten your odds of making it to the big dance anyway.....

It depends on whether Parra decide to clock off at half time like the Tigers did.

The Eels have maybe 1 or 2 tries in them. We will probably have to score at least 36 points to reel in the 26 for and against on the basis the Eels will score about 10.......

Roosters to win by plenty and become minor premiers.

Minor premiership means absolutely nothing. Im just hoping for a win and more importantly no injuries. If JWH hamstring isnt 100% then dont play him- he makes or breaks The Roosters come semi final time. Our forwards are pop guns without him

We might, but I doubt we will win by 30 points.

IMO we need to focus on winning (by whatever amount) rather than assuming we can blow a team of stars looking to avoid the spoon off the field. Guys like Hayne will have way too much pride to allow a thrashing under such circumstances.

If only we had a team like the Panthers...big, strong, and fast.
They're so tall, run so hard and fast.

we just need to beat parra by 26+ to get the minor prem. That puts us against the shire. souffs v the cheats.

Penrith were like the Keystone Cops last night. I'm happy with what we've got.

Agree with those saying that the objective tonight is to go out, play well, win and confirm a top two finish. If we go out to win by plenty, to go out and play catch up footy, it's not a good preparation for semis football and it might be self-defeating. Parra are going to win the wooden spoon but are not easy beats.

But sure, if it's the last minute and we're winning by 25 and we get a penalty we'll take the two. Nothing wrong with being minor premiers at all.

sure you wouldn’t kick field goal like Reynolds did?

should teach maths at souffs or bring an effing abacus. Remember inglarse?

My main incentive to win is so Souths have to travel to Melbourne and all their Centrelink fans miss out on attending. They will have to spend their doll cheques on more meth. Also we would have a huge disadvantage by playing Souths as they would have had 2 days more recovery. If we play Sharks than we would have had a day more to recovery.

Yes i prefer to play Souths rather than the Sharks. The Sharks are at full strength and in form whereas Souths still have players recovering from injury and look vulnerable. My other concern is the Sharks style of football, they turn the game into a arm wrestle and give very little opportunities to their opposition.

Totally agree. Main thing is to win tonight. Finish top two and get a home semi. Would be more comfortable playing at Allianz rather than ANZ first final game.
