Just send the cheats to Perth as a fine.

Especially with the Merge firming their stance.
    ..it’ll be interesting to see

The "experts" seem to use Teddy as the main example of our evil club poaching players from the poor developement clubs, yet the warriors made an astute purchase when they signed RTS, and no one batted an eyelid when Teddy signed with the berries before changing his mind.

Isnt if they breached in 2015 ..then they get deducted points the following year>
I find it strange that Greenturd also was quick to dismiss any problems for 2018 and clear them when the investigation has only begun. If you breached in 2017 once again the points penalty bullshit kicks in depending on the sum etc.The old superleaguers seem to stick together still.

We didn't poach Teddy. He wanted to leave the Tigers. Didn't he approach us because Uncle Nick wouldn't speak to his manager? BTW he signed with the Raiders and backflipped.

Greenburg thinks he can talk his way out of anything but the rugby league world knows he is full of sh!t now. I don't know one commentator who supports him anymore.
I would go so far to say he is worse than Smith and Gallop.
Ironic in a way because when he was at the dogs everyone thought he would be great at heading up the NRL because of the way he spoke.

There was an article in yesterday's telegraph - "Why does this only happen in the NRL" - that originally lumped a 2002 Roosters salary cap fine in with the Storm's penalty and the current question mark about the Sharks. There was a picture of the Roosters 2002 team (along with the Storm and the Sharks), but this now seems to have been removed. A Google search included a snippet of text referring to the Roosters from the original version of this article, but this too has been removed.

Sounds like someone from Roosters HQ got on the phone and corrected some misconceptions... But the smears continue.

The Roosters are an easy target for the sheep and the mentally lazy pundit. The ignorant "Sombrero" insinuations will never stop though I'd love it if the club challenged people like that "professor" to put up or shut up.

Surely that is dodgy - like the Dogs being able to keep their illegally assembled squad to win a premiership.
This morning's papers suggesting 2016 now coming into question.

The player involved was in the 2016 premiership winning team and no longer at the club. 2015-16... odds are shortening for it being blabbermouth Mick Ennis.

Interesting that Scott De Torquemada becomes P.M. and all the Sharks drama goes away.

It seems that all these jerk offs do is run their mouths without being able to back it up. It draws so much negativity towards the club

Is there anyway that the club can sue or threaten to sue the next muppet who falsely accuses the club of "cheating the cap" or having a "salary sombrero" without any proof?

I'm all for freedom of speech and the press but constantly accusing a business of misdemeanors will negatively affect its reputation and therefore profits.

Time for Uncle Nick to throw is weight around abit and get some compensation from the media for the underserved bad press

We should sue for defamation. Rubbishing our clubs name. Any solicitors on here?

Greenberg dismissed this years possible cap infringement as he doesn’t want the finals series attendances to be impacted as the dollars go straight into the NRLs pocket.

Looks that way. Probably also the reason that they said no to his return to the club. This will get messy if the truth actually comes out.

Lol... Maybe time to turn the porch light back on....

You are probably right. Wishful thinking on my part after hearing Menace's constant insinuations about Roosters' cap.
