Some people don’t actually look at how a player performs they only look at the stats. I don’t care what the stats say. I look at the performance. I bet opposition players would rather Napa wasn’t playing.

I love it too but it is to the detriment of winning the National OzTag League comp now.........

I noticed the first Lodge run, maybe it was off the initial kickoff, he actually changed direction to avoid Napa......

I just wished he was nearly as damaging in attack as he is when he hits them in defense......

Make of that what you will and maybe that’s the reason we didn’t fight or contest a downgrade.

He also reckons if he was the Ref Napa would’ve been sent off!
McCallum can go fark himself.................With Sutton watching!

We'll also miss Nap's cross field kicks.

It's possible but going by that logic, his 6 runs might suggest he didn't want to run at the Bronco's. Maybe if he had some more mobility, he could get into a position to make more tackles.

                100% agree with you.

Theres a reason Napa was voted to be the hardest hitter by far in the recent NRL player survey.

He may not be the quickest, or the most effective with ball in hand, but it seems that’s not his MO.

His job is to scare and intimidate c*nts. Not an easy job to do in the NRL, but he’s apparently the best.

This will only heighten his reputation.

Still surprised we didn’t take the early guilty plea and challenge the grading..

Anyway we move forward and pray for no more disruptions to our starting 17..
Yeah no idea why we accepted it as a grade 3? IMO it's pretty excessive saying that pretty much the only thing worse than his hit is doing some reckless Hopoate/T-Rex kinda BS that will get you suspended for half the season.

Can only guess it's a political move to take away the negative media attention leading into the finals? This way he copped it and nobody can say he got off lightly...etc. IMO it will hurt not having him but my experience is that if we play well enough to win, we will win without 1 big forward. If we play like shyte then it ALWAYS comes down to far more serious issues than being without a key player.

                  IMO the crux is this:
                  - If we miss the 8 (with our without Napa) it's our own stupid fault and will come down to poor game management.
                  - To win the GF we will need something special from Napa.
                  - Basically... we don't need Napa unless it's a GF. IMO being suspended will make him keen to play and IF we don't get bundled out in the finals (big if) he will play a key role.

I actually do watch how players perform rather than looking at the big hits they pull off once a month. If i didn't watch the game, I might have been calling for the club to dump Isaac Liu a couple years ago or hoping we would get rid of Joey Manu, however I could see their obvious talent and agreed with the clubs decision to persist with them.

Hardest hitter though doesn't mean a lot if you aren't making a consistent contribution. At NRL level, a club cannot persist with a guy who occasionally pulls off a big hit. It would be ok back in the unlimited interchange days to get a 10 minute contribution. It just means that the other guys have to cover the slack. Napa is basically a luxury player like Tony Williams who would have about 3 strong carries a match.

One player with limited attacking ability but great tackling technique was Nigel Plum.

Fearsome heavy hitter and great defender but never seemed to get in trouble with the judiciary,I guess it’s about technique.

So is it official that he has accepted the ban?
I just read on a Fox update on FB that the Roosters are now going to challenge it

Your argument was that he doesn't intimidate, not that he is intimidated.

                            Which are you arguing?
