  • Our young forwards

Loving the performance of our young forwards in the back half of the year.

I thought it was Cordners best FG game tonight. Looked like he belonged.

Taka was also showing off his skills. Throw in Tasi and Guerra and this year certainly hasn't been a write off. Blooding these guys has been great, they have injected a lot of enthusiasm. If these guys continue to improve, we will have a killer pack next year - especially when Maubs and Kennedy come back.

Agreed, but i reckon 1 old forward deserves a wrap.

MOM had to come from our pack. They got us over the line.

You've gotta love Taka's passion and enthusiasm. When Hayne scored he was absolutely livid. And I also noticed when Braith kicked the field goal Taka was standing to his right with his hands out ready to have a go if need be. You've gotta love a young bloke with confidence. He also made a few very important tackles.

Totally agree re Tasi, he was the standout of the pack and should have been MOM. I thought FPN put in for a lot more than just 10 mins this week also. Credit where credit's due.

The boys did great tonight, they just plugged away all night, hit up afterhit up and regardless of the score, they just kept at the parra line and weren't pushed back very often !!!!

Taka, Man he is just a BALL OF ENERGY !!! like he drank a case of redbulls before the match and a second at half time !

I think we missed Jared a little tonight as well, i don;t know, Mose did well in the intimidation stakes, but just needed his bash brother to really **** up the parra forwards !

St George fans can bag Ryles all they like but if their forwards were doing what Ryles has been doing they would not have been on such a downward slope

Tasi was a standout for mine. He is the sort of kid that Bellamy would try to get hold off and make into a super star. Ryles was good...again. Arona.... to me he is one of those players that physically has it, but mentally he just has little upstairs. He gave away 3 penaltys last night. And they were typically dumb, Roosters penaltys. "Look how long I can hold this guy down for". And the play the ball penalty? For god sake how hard is it to play the ball.

Interesting to hear Smithy in the press conference saying their are about 6 future first graders in our 20's side, and they are keeping a really close eye on them..
I wonder who they may be ?!
