We have won a grand final in the last 5 years!

We can't un-lose the last 3 preliminary finals, so you'll have to live with that, sorry.

This is a different team and if the boys just play what's in front of them they'll do well.

Your posts indicate to me that you are a troll, most likely of the vermin variety, and the fact that most people on this forum haven't woken up to it already baffles me.

Your blokes are doing it tough now, and I like to think our roosters have kicked you on the downward spiral by humbling you on your home ground last week,

We are winning this year convincingly and playing top class footy so I’m hoping we’ll win the comp. we certainly have been the best team of recent.

You have death ridden us all year. Why?

We were not the best side the last two seasons.

We we haven’t been the best side most of this season.

              That is recently.

2015 isn’t recent. And injuries on the eve of the finals cruelled that run.

The coach is obviously positioning us for a shot at it.

Now it’s hope injuries and form hold.

              You know it makes sense.

It's a fallacy that we have had the best roster in the last 5 years. SBW was a great player but since he left and mini was on his last legs we haven't had the calibre of players like the storm with their spine or the cowboys with jt ,Scott and Taumalalo. Souths had inglis and Sam Burgess as leading players. I think a lot of that type of talk permeates from the media and the salary cap rubbish they always mention about us.

You might be a bit unfair here. I think he just desperately wants to win another comp.

Nah he’s a vermin troll, but I don’t mind. All fun and games.

I signed up on the Souths forum during 2013-14 and posed as a Souffs fan. It was fun getting under their scabby skin.

We are a much different kettle of fish with Cronk there.

                        Hahaha we have Cronk now....

I don't mind you Roosterchook. I'm sure you are a Souffs troll but you and Souffs have provided us with endless comedy from 1972 apart from 2014 which was a dead set stitch up.....

The topic is about our poor finals record. I’m always happy to hear your views on the topic but I know I’m a rooster supporter and that’s all that counts.

It’s really disappointing being a rooster fan but being accused of being a troll vermin supporter just because I question things. As you can see I hold a 2018 roosters supporters membership which isn’t cheap. I do support the club financially and am a rooster supporter through and through. I have my Member ID also and pride myself on being a member. Hope this clears up things.

Well it looks like I owe you an apology. So, sorry!

I mistook your posts for a rival fan trying to get under our skin by calling us chokers, etc.

It appears however that you may just be another damaged roosters fan!! Which I fully understand.

That being the case, may I suggest you dare to be more optimistic in your outlook?

Apart from the 2014 PF, which has rightly been called out by many others as being a blatant stitch up, I agree our PF bow outs have been disappointing. The departure of a certain ex half back of ours, whom I greatly admired for many qualities that unfortunately did not include icing pressure finals games, makes us a different lineup this year. That is what Cronk has been brought here for. There is no doubt in my mind he brings a certain composure that we have been missing.

It is the nature of sport that nothing is certain. But we definitely have the team to go all the way this year. We have hit top form at the right time, and barring key injuries or refereeing stitch ups of 2014 proportions, even the non roosters rational side of me says we are the team to beat.

My only criticism is the way we played the final round in 2014 as though it were a grand final. With suspensions to Guerra and Napa it ended up being our grand final.
Two forwards in the centres V a team without a future immortal and Australian prop, they got the job done. That loss was as weak as piss no matter how you look at it
