Can't imagine our club without him. Hands down the best chairman in Australian sports.

Thanks for what you have done for the roosters and here's to the next 25 years running the club

I’d love to meet this man one day and personally thank him for what he had done for my club.

Defintely one to tick off my bucket list of people to meet in my life.

We are absolutely blessed to have uncle Nick in charge of the club and he does it for all the right reasons. It's so rare to have a man of his wealth and influence so passionate about a team and he does it for love and loyalty. He turned us around from being a transit lounge where players came for an easy buck to one of the powerhouses of the league. Our record this century has had us being competitive most years and that can be put down to his hands on influence. City Ford says yes more often.

I recall after the GF in 2013 I was outside the club, like most plebs who were all looking towards the balcony waiting for the team to arrive from the ground and Uncle Nick was walking outside pretending to be another fan enjoying the atmosphere. Not many people recognised him though. He might have Zillions but he is still a street fan like we all are.

Freddy moved Braith [Anasta, the captain] to fullback for a match at Penrith. It was a night game and it was pouring rain. Nick was in Greece so I had to commentate it to him over the phone from the grandstand. Kick off … They’re bombing Braith again … They’re bombing Braith again … Nick was on the other line saying, “Oh shit! Oh shit! What’s he doing? What’s he doing?”

I think Freddy told Nick that year that it would do them good to win the wooden spoon. “Ah, no,” Nick said. “It will not be good for us to win the wooden spoon.”

                    How funny.
Freddy & Nick = polar opposites.

He turned the club from a basket-case transit lounge to a powerhouse.

Deserves a statue either at the club or at the "new" SFS.

If I was Uncle Nick, I would of bought souffs for 3 mil before the Phone-chucker, and made them our feeder club in reserve grade. Totally destroy them. Massive payback to the crap souffs did to us in the 50's/60's with boundary changes etc.
