  • Nate Myles finishes up with the Roosters

Media statement sent through a short time ago:

Following discussions with Nate Myles and his Manager in relation to the recently issued breach notice, it has been determined that Nate will be fined an undisclosed sum and will continue to be excused from training and playing, as well as any other Club activity under the terms of his contract.

The Club acknowledges Nate’s contribution over the past five years and wish him every success in the future

Good. He had one good year with us but overall was another ex dog mistake. DUI,going to the toilet in the hall way of a hotel, breaking team rules..good riddance. We have many good young kids coming through that will work much harder for far less coin than him

Well at least that's done and dusted with a minimum of fuss as it should be.

Fine the bloke his match payments for the games he'll miss plus a bit more, then fark him off to GC with no fuss or fanfare. He doesn't deserve any.

Yet another expensive import who failed to provide value for money for most of his time at the Chooks. We were lucky to get 1 1/2 good seasons out of him.

The drop kick during the Cowboys game this year sealed it for me... we've been fine without him!

              Yep. Me too.

              Referee:
              Don't kick the ball away.

              Myles:

That's right. Nothing went through his head.

So they sacked Myles, all they need to do now is sack Carney and not drag it out any longer. Seems hypocritical if they keep Carney and sack Myles

                    Myles.

Thanks for toiling every week. Some weeks were better than others, but that goes for everyone else in the side.

Thanks for being our best forward for a couple of seasons and leading from the front.

Things didnt work out, dont waste your last few years in pubs, as youre at the age were props peak (even though youre a back rower). And good luck at the GC.

in the tellucrap, they said that Myles wanted one more game with his mates............ Funny that considering he was already thinking about the GC earlier in the year by going to the GC V Manly at manly rather that being at the Roosters game and supporting HIS MATES !!!!

Hope to see you at the end of a Mose Loco next year myles !

                        Good luck to Myles.

Best memory was of him chasing Merrit in round 1 2010.

Thanks for your time Nate. You were often our best forward out there for us over the last few years.

Disappointing way to finish your time at the Roosters...

He was as good as most other players in our teams in which he played, and better than many.

I would've also eventually have kicked the ball away in frustration at the mistakes made by my fellow players, and the refereeing.
