Toups is getting better each game after being out for a long period and deserves to be one winger. Morris is injury prone and is nearing the end of his career and will not come for less than $500k per season. However Hall could be a great signing and could be a huge revelation next season.

This is where it doesn't make sense if these figures being bandied about are anywhere near the mark. We could have coughed up that much for Fergo instead of dolling out that much money for two older wingers. Someone will be riding the pine getting splinters in their arse for a lot of money. I hope the roosters come to there senses and drop off Morris.

Saw the done deal announcement on the Footy Show too. Plus Sterlo's comment that Morris couldn't do what he did five years back, but that his experience would be good for the club. How about that fantastic wrap that Nathan Brown gave Ryan Hall though. Rated him one of the best wingers he has seen. Brown saw plenty of him coaching in the SuperLeague.

TIT is bolstering up depth so he can do an NBA style 5 player 3-team trade for a 1dt round draft pick in 2022

Have seen Hall play a number of tests now, and he is indeed a talent, nothing like Burgess, he is a dedicated player, and very hard to handle in defence. Morris on the other hand has been a very good player, but injuries have hampered him over the last couple of seasons. I certainly wouldn't pay overs for him, but at the right price and a good preseason under his belt, he may be a good buy.

So if it is true and we have signed Morris as well as Hall (mind you until the Roosters announce it I am not convinced) what will our 3/4 line look like next year? You can’t play Morris in reserve grade and only bring him in at Origin time. I am sure he didn’t sign on for that. Also, I can’t imagine Toops in reserve grade. Hall hasn’t signed on to come all the way over here to play reserves. I guess it’s not a bad problem to have but it’s still a conundrum. Glad I don’t have to make Sophie’s choice.

That's where I'm at, too.
Extra depth is a good thing and if you can have 5 first graders to cover 4 positions you're well set for injury/loss of form. But only if one of the wingers is capable of playing in the centres.
