  • Tetevano charged will cop 90 carryover points if he pleads guilty and free to play against the Sea Eagles

no surprise Tetevano got charged, it was an incredibly dumb thing to do right after Radley got suspended for exactly the same thing.

Early plea is 90 points and he has no carry-over. He should be available.

How do you define a punishment? He was fined, not suspended.

Well he did get 10 in the bin while Tetevano didn't. Punishment enough for a few catslaps which wouldn't have bruised me, let alone the Warriors player.

So now any minor offense later in the season will result in a suspension. That's not ideal.

If thats the case, It wouldn't be the dumbest idea to just take the charge. We have Collins and Farmer Silly ready to go

That's what I thought. And another charge is inevitable.

Worst crime in league these days is be caught on camera BEFORE your hearing.

will never happen to Broncos players where videos go missing

He/we should take the 90 points carry over and have him play against Sea Eagles at their home.
                    We'll need him, gold-plated guarantee.

I often think it's better to go that route when it doesn't have as many consequences rather than missing finals games later on

I'm with you. We'll need his toughness and experience come September and the young props can do with some experience right now.

Tetevano isnt a big bloke but f**k he runs hard and it looks like it hurts to tackle him. We will need him come September. Take the charge!

So The Roosters took the early plea...

The Sydney Roosters have elected to enter an Early Guilty Plea after Zane Tetevano was cited by the NRL Match Review Committee in Round 18.

Tetevano received a Grade 1 Dangerous Contact charge for an incident that occurred in the 38th minute of the match on Titans captain Ryan James.

He will receive 90 points for the charge and be free for selection this afternoon when our Round 19 squad is named to face the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles at Lottoland.

Odd thing to do considering that we have a couple of boys ready to go in place of him if the team decided we wanted to take the charge.
