Munster was Queenslands best player over the course of the series. Teddy was the player of the series and should have got the medal.

So proud of Boyd, should have been Wally Lewis medal winner. Hope he has a good rest this weekend and comes back firing the the back end of the year.
I know he cops some slack sometimes, but no matter what team he plays on you can never question his desire or work ethic for the team.
Anyone who thinks otherwise isn’t a true Roosters supporter, the other 15 teams would kill for a 12nd rower like him.

Now that the adrenaline and passion has subsided I know it’s not Slaters fault he won the award. I should not have made personal comments about him and apologise for them.
That said listening to Laurie Daley this morning on the BSB on how the voting works (4, 3, 2, 1 across the 3 games judged by himself Lockyer and Meninga) the NRL needs to be transparent and release the voting across the 3 games.Loved by few, hated by many, respected by all.

Daley stressed that neither Lockyer or Meninga are biased in anyway but I find it hard to believe that a current Qld selector and a past Qld coach don't pay closer attention to the Qld players then the NSW players. Why not have 4 people voting, 2 from each state?
2 from Qld and 2 from NSW,it’s such a simple solution..

So, after that stitch-up, pre-ordained, disgrace of a match that doubled as a billy slater testimonial, I have the following comments/questions:
* Were NSW so bad that they warranted receiving just one friggin penalty in 69 minutes of that game? And only three in 80 minutes?
* In the same 69 minutes, the toads got approximately 7? #penaltytoads #thankyousutton
* What happened to Paul Vaughan? NSW effectively played with 16 and then 15 for 10 minutes when stupid Maloney was binned.
* Lattrell was hardly sighted, made his usual poor defensive read, and has much to learn, but then he's still young unlike Maloney, Sims, and Klemmer.
* Hunt should have been penalised for lying all over Sims but that didn't justify Sims' subsequent boneheaded reaction.
* Klemmer is a moron but then he was probably fatigued due to the absence of Paul Vaughan.
* Crichton was largely ineffective and Peachey came on too late which leads me to my next point.
* Freddy's use of the bench was Trent Robinson like - crap in case you're wondering what I mean. See my comment regarding Paul Vaughan.
* And lastly, slater as man of the series - what an absolute joke. NSW deserve an explanation but then shyte of origin is all about qld
And another thing:
* Before Sims' idiocy, didn't the touch judge prematurely raise his flag when JAC threw the ball back in field which therefore should have been NSW's ball and not a scrum to the toads? And didn't the toads score soon after?
As I said, a stitch-up.Last edited by TheLoneRooster; 07-12-2018, 01:17 PM."The price of freedom is eternal vigilance."
