Not to mention he signed well before Cronk had even thought about signing here.

You can’t blame the kid for taking his opportunities.
Opportunity of course but that didn't last long, half-way of the season on his first year big money contract and his current club is shopping him around already. I dare say there won't be many clubs willing to pay him $600K moving forward especially when his playing resume is slim.

We don’t know that’s true though, could just be media dribble.

And he’s going to get $600k regardless of if he leaves or not. If the Knights get rid of him they’ll more then likely still have to pay a percentage of his contract so he’s still going to be paid the same amount.

Problem is he cant pass to his right, his flair would be useful around tired forwards later in the game though. Would have him over Baptiste

Connor is a good player but he isn't suited in the halves, he is either a fullback or a bench player coming on and running from dummy half. I think the knights have realised this and with ponga set to be the fullback for the next decade he has tied up a lot of money in an unsuitable position

I think this was painfully obvious to most Roosters fans so the Knights ****ed up royally in paying him 500k per annum to play 5/8.

He played his best footy with us at fullback and at hooker.

            Silly Nathan Brown.

If Newcastle cover half his money he would be great off the bench that's for sure.

Seeing as though he left for a starting position I doubt he would be willing to come back for a bench spot

A mate of mine coached him as a teenager and reckons his best position will turn out to be hooker. What could have been!

If memory serves, Damien Cook started out as a fullback.

I don’t like players returning. Once they leave they are no longer Roosters. I don’t want him back.

I don't see much up side in bringing him back. He doesn't have the skills for the halves, doesn't have the defense to play hooker, and certainly wouldn't play fullback with us. The only semi-viable option would be to turn him into a right center and push Manu to the wing. Although he could provide decent impact off the bench, he's not really versatile enough to be a genuine utility. I'd say no thanks.

Connor Watson: Less Craig Wing, more Nathan Wood.

Couldn't agree more, very limited skill set in comparison to Wingy.
