  • Robbos Contract Extended to 2022

Was just looking at the DT and it mentions an extension to the end of 2022 for Robby. I'm guessing that Ivan Cleary isn't part of the clubs plans based on the news.

Should master his use of the bench by then

It's not easy deciding between an injured winger on the bench or a guy who says he is a hooker but can't pass.

Time to get your seat in Robbo's Rolls-Royce - mmm I have always been in Robbo's Roll-Royce myself :-) - Robbo signed an earlier extension until 2019 so this extension of 4 years will be until 2023 wouldn't it though?

Robbo can be Roosters’ Alex Ferguson

THE Sydney Roosters have responded to rumours that Ivan Cleary could take over as head coach by extending Trent Robinson’s coach by four years — and his reign could last even longer

No seat for you in Robbo's Rolls-Royce in that case

not a big fan of giving Robbo an extra 4yrs, willing to bet that another team such as the Broncos/Eels have made a play to sign Robbo and we were forced to give him such a long extension.

I don't think he was ever part of the plan myself - Nathan Cleary will re-sign with Penrith long term in any case - Ivan wants to coach the Tigers long term as reported in the papers out my way (Macarthur) - the Bronco story of Ivan and Nathan going to them as a package deal is Dean Ritchie making it up and then saying oh no one's denied it and where there's smoke there's fire BS

Robbo would have to change cars though - A Ute for Parramatta and or a VW for the Bronco's

I would have waited until the end of the year and see where the club ends up. But I'm not running the Roosters.

Doesnt mean much. Coaches dont come under the cap and as soon as he isnt wanted he will get sacked.

All it does is get rid of rumours that we have some clandestine plan to sign Wayne Bennett or some shyte.

To be fair, Robbo has won 3 in 6 years and has put us in highly competitive positions (top 4) for all but 1 season thus far. This is despite having to deal with pretty much a complete roster change during that time (due in part to the salary cap).

In wog ball, you can and do buy premierships. Also there is no GF... minor premiership = premiership. Also, wog ball is soft as!
