Being labeled as the heir to Cronk's throne would have inflated his ego, especially a young bloke.

What about that young half playing for Penrith tonight, he's carving them up.

Yeah he's been awesome; albeit against a pathetic opponent.

He just re-signed though which is surprising given he has the Blues halves ahead of him.

He looks to have a lot more natural attacking talent than Cleary.

Tbh I see Cleary as a much more composed Mitchell Pearce.

The other was MOM for NSW Residents a few weeks ago.

Brodie Croft is just another Melbourne robot.
Options are never a bad thing.

Remember how many options we went through trying to find Maloney's replacement and even then we still had to go out and recruit.

Lam and Osullivan are still very young and raw. Croft is a few years ahead in regards to age and development.

Cronk retiring at the end of the year isn't something the club would have planned for... Lam and O'sullivans development would need to be fast tracked and thats very hard thing to do as a half.

He reminds me of Ewan Mcgrady from the Bulldogs years ago.
                  Freakish footballer.

Another young gun rolling off the panthers production line. When Gus went back they hardly had any juniors playing in their team and now they have a ton of them coming through. They are going to be a force in the next five years and I can see them competing for quite a few comps. They have been belted by injuries this year yet they are still up in the top 4.

Panfers will be almost full strength in a few weeks time too - Mansour back next game and Campbell-Gillard round 20 or so - had a few others back for the Warriors game as well - Kik and Waqa- only McKendry wont be back - the impressive part of their game is their forwards - very skilful with the ball - offloads/passing and ball skills and equally as good in defence- be arguable the best pack of the teams in the 8 - gives their backs plenty of momentum too in attack. - In my mind they(Panfers) are the favourites notwithstanding it's possibly anyone's comp if the 8 remains the same and all teams play to their capabilities in the finals series - Finishing top 4 and winning that game first week of finals could be telling

I'm starting to think the same to be honest. Sort of hoping we don't end up with him.

Maloney is the coverall. He lets Cleary do his thing, however it is. Maybe training until Cronk would make him better. And the goal kicking is golden.
