Napa named 18th man for SOO3

no idea what QLD are doing by naming Napa 18th man, if he is fit he starts if there is any doubts he shouldn't have been named.

the way Walters was talking this morning they have basically already ruled Napa out.

I reckon a lot of QLDers e thrown in the towel because they dont wanna lose. Could make a list but you have to remember that QLDers are always sore losers so it isnt abnormal that all the supposed heroes/immortals are unavailable when the going gets tough. Darius Boyd is the classic - announces retirement as if it was his choice as soon as he realises he isnt in contention. Surely a real competitor would have more cojones and make it clear his form doesnt warrant selection but he will be available if/when needed for one last show...

Pearce must be having a good old chuckle seeing Hunt, Milford, Munster... oh wait... DCE showing up to play in the halves.

Completely agree with everything, im a bit dissapointed that pearce wasnt been to play with a good forward pack vs halves in the same position he was in a few years ago where nothing they did at club level worked in origin. Wouldve liked for him to lead nsw to at least one series win

Likely to miss the Titans game along with Radley and Cords - important game to win especially with the log jam forming in the current 8- Chooks to make top 4 need to win 5 or more games out of the last 8 one suggests- 36 was 3rd and 4th last year - with one less bye - 34 could well be the cut off for the top 4- meaning Chooks may need 6 wins from last 8 games
