I am truly thankful that I only have to suffer the Grumpy Old Men 4 times a year - 3 Origins and 1 GF.

From what I did manage to view, Teddy was amazing - no surprises there. He's been one of our best all year. Latrell excelled and Cords put in a real captain's knock. And Napa was his usual mixed bag.
Next time turn the sound down and listen to the radio commentary - I often listen to the ABC, it's less annoying and much more descriptive, because it has to be.

The kid is a superstar. Got more ball and showed how destructive he is. Always a threat. More importantly didn't get baited by Chambers, who is the king of the niggle. Very mature performance.
      .
i reckon latrell might eventually take that crown, just before half time think he got chambers worked up, hes great at winding people up.

Thanks Waylander. Good tip - might do that for SOO2 - I don't mind Dan Ginnane for MMM so might put them on instead. I know there's a bit of a delay, but that's better than my ears bleeding.

If only it was as easy to protect the eyes - a panel made up of the likes of Gallen, Gould and Fatso is very taxing to watch, let alone listen to. Reminds me why I don't watch anything to do with footy on Channel 9.
Supporting the RW&B, through good times and bad times.

I think Latrell gets under plater's skins based on ability. He beats them and that's angrifying

He absolutely smashed Chambers (who is the incumbent for Australia, no?)

Not only did he physically dominate him, he:
            - Didnt buy into the niggle
            - Didnt care that he refused to go back 10 (didnt see him do it once)
            - Defended just fine... nothing got past him
            - Almost scored a double on debut!!! I dont think he grounded it but the ref called try and I heard the bunker apply the wrong test!!!! They openly said , we are checking to see whether latrell mitchell grounds the ball at any stage,. I was like aaaaaw WTF!!!! Nah guys!!!! Ref called try so you are looking for conclusive evidence that he did NOT ground it. BALLS!!! You are openly applying the wrong test!!!! I reckon Latrell woulda scored a double if they applied the right test. Still... good hustle how forced a video decision.

As good as Latrell was He did not ground the ball and score that second try, the video refs got it spot on with their ruling.

A terrific win for Freddy and his team. As for our Qld representative Napa I see some journo commented how he struggled with the pace of the game and gave a low ranking of only 4. I hope Campbell - Gillard gives it to the spiteful Inglis in the remaining games.

I actually thought Greg Inglis was best on ground but the 3 Roosters NSW players were the best players for NSW along with Maloney.

Teddy was the best on ground I reckon with Latrell and Boyd right in there as well . Very proud of our Roosters contributions but I'm not get carried away yet , last years game 2 capitulation is still painfully burned in the memory. Inglis had a ball tearer of a game true but he's got a lot of grub in him. Smashed turbo fair enough but then the forearm to the face on the ground is pure scum IMO. And he really should be playing for NSW !

It looked like Sunday lunch at Jabba The Hutt’s joint.
