Amazing Latrell

We all know that Latrell Mitchell has errors in his game and is still very much a work in progress YET he has amazingly made the start up side of NSW Origin’s attempt to reclaim the trophy. What a tribute! What does this say about how such a young player who was dropped by Robinson only to strike back with winning a maiden birth in Origin? For God’s sake, he only handled the ball was it twice last match he played yet knocked over the defenders in front of him like a bowling ball does ten pins scoring a strike and a magnificent try!

I wish him well and hope he returns safe and uninjured and red hot. I hope he rattles the QLD defense although they will be focusing on shutting him out.

Its a credit to our club and coaches that Latrell has progressed so fast and become so dynamic. When I read the NSW team list and see his name, it makes me very proud and it’s great Fittler has chosen blokes that can break the line like Latrell. I hope he and NSW and all our players goes well but imagine his nerves right now??

im hoping theres a game plan where he gets loads of early ball, bit hard cause theyve got so much strike power in that backline. Hes the most exciting player on the field easily, hoping when he scores a try he kicks the ball so hard as a celebration it goes of the stadium. hope hes with us till end of his career

on another note the rooster u18s playing in SOO look quite good

Watch him go in sky blue tonight. He will own the Centre spot for the next 10 years.

He is is far from perfect but that means he can only get better and that should scare the crap out of any opposition.

It will be a big test for Latrell up against the best defensive centre in the game in Will chambers . I think Qld have missed a trick by not picking ponga he is a bit special and they could have had a left side of ponga, Munster and inglis running at James Roberts.
Blues forwards look like they are too skilful for Qld and should get on top of the Qld pack

Who are rooster players in u18s?

for NSW Egan butcher who scored a good try but they disallowed it and had no bunker, Duwayne Fuimaono at lock very solid and big likes to run and offload, Tallis Angianga is from the central coast roosters on the wing who had good catches and runs while also forcing attackers over the touch line quite a few times with his defence.
For Qld Mckenzie Baker in fullback great cover defence in tackles, bomb defusals and grubber clean ups were very good as well as being quite athletic. sadly i had to look away for a bit and missed Geordie Brand who came off the bench, didnt see much of him
