Good old Jake Hetherington. A mate of mine had a bit to do with him when he was at the Roosters . A very likeable kid and as mentioned a bit of a loose cannon on the field. Good old style country footballer.
As far as I am aware there was no falling out with the Roosters, Gould just really wanted him at the Panthers and the Roosters liked him but didn't rrate him as much

don't know what was said but since Evans is of islander background(Fijian) what would have been the racial sledge - like an indigenous person calling another one some name that a non indigenous person would be in trouble for but not an indigenous one if you get my drift

This is a strange one. Maybe the warriors player didn't realise Jane Evens is Fijian. Evens isn't as darker skin as some other Fijian players. Who knows...

yes spell checker got me. He played 20s with the Roosters and left mid season to go to Penrith

Missed one player in that off-contract list, the most under-rated winger in the comp......................Anthony Don.
With him and Toops on the flanks we will have Manu and Fergo battling for one centre position. That'll help with our depth.

The bloke is a self centered ,selfish egomaniac who is a cancer to any team he plays in. We would have really returned to the dim, dark transit lounge days if we signed him up.

Its sad that he has become such a punchline. I thought he was a better player than that. But definitely a no for me regarding Hayne. He isn't that special anymore, is lazy, expensive and a nutty Christian to boot.
