For a million odd bucks a year Teddy shouldn’t need any help.

Interesting comments about Woods. He makes more yardage than most props, even running backwards. Has a high defensive workrate, good offload and can play long minutes. He starred when he came to grade in 2012. Fittler picked him for his City side and rated him highly. Was one of our best when we beat Qld in the 2014 SOO.

Woods is a current Australian international. Played in the World Cup final against England and was the 2017 Dally M Prop of the Year. He's a year younger than Tapua, plays longer minutes, but less explosive, and nobody wants him at a cut price? Seems like a lot of fans have a different opinion than the Australian selectors and the Dally M judges.

Since his Dora the Explorer haircut though his yardage has dropped to only 140 per game still ahead of any of our guys. And better than Dancing Dallas or Marty. I do get the pillow talk but...we could do worse

So you’d be happy to sign one that plaits his hair then?

I'll check it with Larry Emdur, and see what Samurai's are fetching these days.

I'd give him a run at the chooks for the cut price for sure . As said before he's not flashy but makes the metres. The Blues always had much more go forward when he was on the paddock .We could definitely use another front rower allowing TKO back to lock and running down the edges utilizing his speed and step. Been crying out all year for another big bopper and now we are getting fussy lol. Take him in a heartbeat ! (And he's had a haircut )

Seriously doubt we would get Tapau - and he is more expensive I would think. Would take Woods for 600-650 even - more consistent value than Napa. Dogs more desperate salary cap wise than Eagles.

If the Roosters signed either Woods or Tapau they will lose either JWH or SST or maybe Liu.

I agree with your assessment of Woods , I don't understand the criticism he cops. He makes plenty of metres and can offload the ball which in this age of wrestling and 3 man tackles is a dying art form . His biggest weakness is his lazy marker defence and he looks like he went to the dogs for the big pay cheque. Get him on the cheap with the dogs paying plenty of his freight and Robbo can motivate him to become part of some success which he hasn't been part of previously. Big upsides signing him and little to lose.
