That was the thing about the old wall, there were no logins or passwords, you could be whoever you wanted. There was nothing to stop you posting under someone's else name either. Not a very nice thing to do, but I have to admit to inflaming the odd argument here and there on a slow work day, by pretending to be someone else.

I pretended to be Rooster Cogburn once and started a rumour that we had signed Jason Taylor, after Cogburn started a bunch of Kimmorley signing rumours that turned out to be wrong. My JT rumour caused all sorts of panic among concerned rooster fans, and even made it onto 2UE's evening sports show, where it was denied by Phil Gould. I was quite proud of that.

From my perspective, Bansai was curious yet astonished at the naivety.
