  • Trivia Chooks vs Bronco's

    Played 44 times - Broncos 27- Roosters 17

What are Chooks biggest wins and losses against the Bronco's?

How many times has the Chooks scored 30 or more points against the Bronco's??

I recall the Chooks putting 30 or more points on against the Bronco's only once - 32-16 win in 2016

Is there a website that has such stats??

Rugby League Project has head to head listings

I went to the 28-0 game I am pretty sure it was 0-0 at half time too, Mick De Vere missed a pretty easy penalty goal attempt. Luke Phillips scored from a few bombs.

So 28 points would be our highest winning margin then 24 points in 2001 while they have beaten us a few times by margins in the 30's

My memory may be wrong but the 17-10 in 2005 felt like we dominated them big time but the score was close, I am sure Mini and Tupou terrorised them that night. Meanwhile the game earlier in the year with Hodges returning for the first time was awful they gave Leon Bott early ball night and he tore us a new one. We should never have lost both games in 2008 either we fell apart in the second half time, jeez we did that a lot in that year.

So only 4 times we have scored 30 or more against them - never 40 or more - Chooks would have racked up 40 plus against other sides through their history but never the Bronco's - meaning Chooks will very very rarely have a big win against them.- Something for those that bet on games I suppose

Don’t be fooled by the AFL in the address.
It’s very comprehensive but doesn’t have the immediate answers without searching.
