  • Rabbitohs’ Partnership with Central Coast Stadium

    https://www.centralcoast.nsw.gov.au/...coast-stadium/

In previous seasons the Rabbitohs have regularly sold out home games at Central Coast Stadium and a big crowd is expected again for the first game of NRL football at the stadium in 2018.

Rabbitohs CEO Blake Solly says the Club is looking forward to bringing the Rabbitohs back to Gosford.

“Central Coast Stadium is one of the best stadiums in the State and we’re expecting to see a lot red and green support in the stands in April.

“We have a strong Membership base in and around the Central Coast with about 10% of our Members coming from this region.

“Central Coast Stadium is an important part of Rabbitohs history. The Club played an exhibition game at the ground the day after it was announced we would be re-instated to the elite competition back in 2001 against the Umina Bunnies, and the celebrations at Central Coast Stadium that day were fantastic.

Central Coast Mayor Jane Smith said that Central Coast Stadium was thrilled to partner with the Rabbitohs to bring elite Rugby League games to the Coast.

    Well there you go.

Have the Roosters ever won an NRL game at Central Coast stadium post Northern Eagles...since we started transferring home games there?
Do we have a replacement for Wyong yet?

We must win our game against the Titans on May 26 2018 at Central Coast Stadium, or risk being replaced in the region by Souths.

We beat the Titans there in 2015, score was 20-10 and also Canberra back in 2005 score 30-16, they are the only ones I can remember apart from the Northern Eagles.

It's not a very good record, is it...given the teams we've had.

Hopefully we can win there next week.

Let's hope we don't meet the same fate.

I'd prefer to play our one game a year in Adelaide. Would be happy with a second game in Vegas each year.

                    Why?
Crazy idea if you ask me.
Adelaide is a looooong way from Bondi/Sydney...how can fans be expected to travel there for home games.

Adelaide, Vegas...might as well relocate to China.

                        Indeed, can't help themselves.
You watch, they'll be at the new Allianz stadium when it's built...maybe at our expense, who knows.
They seem to have plenty of money and plenty of clout.

Yep it is a pretty ordinary record. I forgot we also beat the Cowboys there in 2004, Luke Dorn was 5/8. It must of been the time of SSO time.

SMH reporting the Bears/ Easts partnership could happen ....quite soon.

Toddles may start in a Bears jumper next week.

I hope it comes off....piss Souths off too.

If you refer to Carney isn’t he going to Newtown?
