I’m pretty sure the players coach and training staff are under way too much pressure.
ive said this before. When we have games like against the warriors the players loosen up and look like they’re actually enjoying their footy.
in tight games and clutch moments the players look tense and are error prone.
The roosters are a high achieving club that will not accept 2nd. Remember, we play for premierships, and the pressure is from the very top down.
Robbo is feeling it now, has been all year, and it’s for all to see.
Cronk and Tedesco are feeling it big time.
our disgraceful treatment by the officials does not help on the field either.
Imagjne trying your guts out and losing every 50/50 call. Mental torture.

We are always a club under pressure witn a high profile, close media scrutiny, demanding fanbase and battling uncomplimentary stereotyping that feeds on myths.

It all adds up and you get a tight, unrelaxed culture that fears failure too much.

To his credit, Robbo knows all this and trys to convey a persona that rejects all that and focusses on us, and being the best we can be.

Its not an easy gig being an Easts person...player, coach, fan or official.
