By the way, I sent Sammy a text saying thanks. He replied thanking us for arranging it.

He has a "boot" on his foot because of injury. Horry told me he took it off before he went in because he "didn't want this to be about him".

I don't know of another player in the game that compares to Sammy.

People with no idea about the game bag him.

Sammy is the cement you build a club with.

Amen JT he is all that and more.

I asked how he was and he replied " my ankle is a little sore" I had no idea he had a boot for his foot.

I have sent Steve Noyce a thank you letter, he should be proud of the both.

Also JT I also have great new set of wheels.....

Sammy is such an UNDERRATED Person and player, he is one person that should be looked at as a role model, but he will be the first to play that down.

I'd like to say I'm surprised but I'm not. If Sam's taken Willie Mataka under his wing then Willie would have to search a long time for a more decent mentor.

Two great guys, not sure who had more fun Tom, Willie or Sammy.

Sammy will be talking to Nocye about getting Tom a contract as a catching coach. Great work guys really was fun afternoon.
I'm tipping maybe it was you who had the most fun Glenn!

Excellent story, best wishes to you
