A lot of people on here like a lot of referees in the nrl and a lot of players and a lot of commentators don’t know the knock on rule. The ball must be propelled from the the hand or arm towards your opponents dead ball line to be called a knock on unless you regain control/possession/are billy slater. It does not matter which way you are facing.

Isaako touches the ball about 1.5m in front of the 20m line. It hits the ground on or behind his 20m line. It cannot be a knock on. Isaako stops because he is disoriented and thinks he has knocked on because nrl refs think they are playing dropped ball rules 90% of the time.
