  • Stoked with that Win.

I was planning an overdue thread about the game managers.
But , I dont care about those bastards atm

When fulltime sounded today, I laughed.
It hurt , but I did.
I wanted 50, but we won.
    I cared about the result.

Victor Radley is a great player for a bloke so young.
    Go Easts.

    Yep.

We are in sixth, two points behind third, and we are at about 50% capacity.

Yeah I know, we are equal 4th and 5 from 9.

As much as I am looking forward to us winning a game by 50, some of these wins have shown a lot of heart by our guys that is not being appreciated by many on here.

The game is being officiated VERY differently this year. Lots of 5th tackle penalties and repeat sets to be defended on our line. I know I am looking at things with biased eyes, but I see our guys being yelled at in every tackle to get off right away (and still getting pinged), but our opponents seem to take their time getting off, which allows them to set their line and be in our playmakers' faces on almost every tackle.

This plus fatigue from all the defending partly explains our lack of spark in attack.

Remember yesterday we had 40% possession - it takes a special effort to still win with that little ball.

Good thread Eddie,we are in 6th spot and playing well below capacity which is a great position to be in..
I’m sure their will be more ups and downs as the season goes on but the important thing is to win enough games to get us into the top 4,then the new competition starts..

Was thinking the same thing myself last night. It's not the best place to be, but there is still hope.

Also, and I know Manly had their own fair try disallowed minutes before, but that fair try Fergo scored off the great Keary pass was the kind of attack and confidence we've all been waiting for - only to be denied by brain dead refs.

Lets not get carried away. We nearly blew it against the 14th placed side that's lost their last 5.

We've beaten the sides coming 8th, 10th, 14th and 15th (twice) and been smashed by the teams coming 1st, 2nd, 5th.

Its good that we're winning some games but we are long way off the better sides.

Palmy, Radley was born in Sydney, raised in Clovelly. First played for the Wombats. A Roosters Junior. I propose he be nicknamed RickJu.

While Nene McDonald gets away with dropping the ball and somebody else gets away with smacking Cam Smith in the cojones.
