I tell you what, play him for one game on the right edge and I gaurantee he will offer more then Matto, I said it in another thread. 1st half, zero runs zero hit ups, 18 tackles and 5 missed
Matto is slow, has no leg speed like most of our forwards and is offering nothing

Radley is young, enthusiastic and is showing a lot more then all our pack put together. Put him in and give him a shot, what do we have to lose

I was at the game and watching Matto, and I actually thought the same.. Matto is slow and ineffective and was supposed to be a ball player, being an X 5/8...
Radley would be dynamic in that role, instead of a guy who is just going through the motions..

I get that Matto is still learning to play backrower but come on, we have a stud sitting there, use the kid. He oozes enthusiasm, something we are lacking. His first hit up today, ran with speed and power and nearly pushed through.

Awesome match saver and game by Radley. He’s got the rooster spirit which the rest of the team lacks.

Victor reminds me a little of someone..

A recently retired #13 that was considered too small, but compensated with a perfect tackling technique. Played at 93kg. Represented Qld and Aust.... DALLAS JOHNSON

Take your point. I didn't realise Matto missed 6 tackles today. He didn't have a great one. They came after him and Cronk pretty hard all day though. Hard to blame him if the ball doesn't come his way - he is only young.

I'm guess I am not convinced in Radley yet, he had some awful defensive lapses at the start, I am coming around though. His shot on the line on Graham today was great. Matterson has been pretty solid for us the last couple years, doing patchwork jobs for us, hard to ask for too much more.

I'd rather see Radley play more minutes in the middle and eat into Napa's time.

He's a local and he's a future captain. That tackle on Walker was Bunny Reilly like. Fantastic.

I don’t ever recall seeing Tapau rattled like that and pretending that it didn’t bother him... and then to follow it up with the Walker tackle...? Who is this Mighty Mouse? Only concern is that he is small and taking on larger guys that hard.

I wouldn’t say Matto has been solid, he’s done an ok job but really offers zero in attack. He is still learning to run the right lines as a backrower and for me doesn’t have the mongrel to run those crash plays like Cordner does

I can't remember being this excited about a young kid coming into first grade for the roosters. He deserves to be on the field for 80 minutes.

How good to see SOMEONE “ripping in” in our forward pack, even if it is one of the smallest players.

How good to see one of our local juniors playing so well.

I look forward to watching his career continue to develop, (hopefully ONLY in the tricolours).....

I'd go with "ok". He is definitely not our weakest link at this point.

                              Bloody oath!
Was interesting to watch the press conference as there was plenty of talk about Vic. Trent was reserved in his comments with Jake next to him but even Jake couldn’t hide from praising Vic.
                              ..it’ll be interesting to see

Can't get enough of Radley's tackle on Walker.
