  • Jake friend needs to go NOW!!!

The time has come.. Either the coaching staff give him simple instructions ie get to dummy half and pass DIRRECTLY to Cronk or Keary or drop him.. His aimless two or three steps from the ruck and rubbish service is killing out attacking play.. He simply and plainly slows down our attack.. PS on another not Cordner isn’t going that much better, struggling to fit him into the origin team let alone as captain....

His service is just so poor, Trent needs to cut him loose before this turns into another Sheens & Farah tragedy and they both get the chop.

Friend won’t be dropped, our only option is limit his game time and Robbo is so reluctant to do that
Cordner does his best work when we have good go forward, we ain’t getting it and really haven’t all year

A lot worse players than friend out there today.

Napa may as well just carry the water on that field.

he was happy with baptistes effort and will go back down to reserve grade to help him develop

Haha, I get that Friend is a great team mate but at some point that will no longer be so. Soon enough even the players will come to realise Jakes future is in England or even the south of France.

Cronk was still shit when Friend was off the field.

it was blatantly obvious how much baptistes speed and passing helped us. well obvious to every one except the coaching box

Friends service was a little better at times today. But if we're comparing Radley in defence he is so much more effective. Poor Jake can't complete a tackle on his own anymore.

I don't think it's a form slump unfortunately, more a winding down on a career of footy.

Isn't Radley something special, I hope he develops into a Rooster legend as he certainly has the heart for it, things just happen when he's on.. punches so far above his weight.

Not quite sure what game you were watching but Baptiste offered zilch from dummy half - His first game I understand but those on here wanting him to be the main man at DH would have/should have second thoughts about that for sure and certain.

Radley was playing second row though - not sure your comparing apples with apples in comparing both - Radley did well but so did Jake in what one would say a very dysfunctional performance - so much to work on and so little time to get it right - Apparently all the work they did in the 11 day break didn't play out in that performance - Big test next game vs Warriors in NZ
