Robbo didn't say the coaches had mucked everything up. He said that the team was building structures and that involved some short term problems for the players. They have to focus on the structure rather than on playing what's in front of them. Robbo still believes that that will pay off in the long run.
Hope he's right.

I have been thinking the same. It might be worthwhile for Robbo to have a chat with him. I remember Pearce looking forward to Smith's arrival in 2010 and it certainly worked well for the Rooster's attack, especially the halves and backs. That is before Carney fell off the wagon and took half the playing group with him.
