  • "Bozo" Fulton speaks on Todd Carney

On 2GB yesterday when Carney was being discussed, Hadley said he should be sacked.

"Bozo" said: "Keep him, and manage him".

Exactly the correct thing to do. [as Manly did with Watmough, who ran all over our team last week].

"Bozo" also said: "Get him a girlfriend...to put his arm around, now he's only associating with blokes".

He had a girlfriend ... [last year?].
    It didn't work out.

"Tall dark and handsome with a large.....income" was the top desire of women in the major women's non-Woman's Day type magazine poll.

The first step in managing Carney is to extract him from the world he inhabits off the field now and place him in a new one...because the world he inhabits now is only bringing him trouble.

Starting with an older person live-in male or female mentor/bodyguard/'chaperone' 24/7 all year.

He has the chance to make a lot of money and set himself up for life.

I still rate you as one of the best trolls I've seen.

I'm not even sure if everyone has realised it yet.

**** me. He doesn't need a bloody girlfriend or wife to act responsibly. I, among billions of other people around the world, manage to act responsibly even before we had significant others. Nothing changed since we all got married. People really are stretching now...

And the whole world has tried to manage him for the past 5-7 years at least. He's just a ****wit with no respect.

To be fair, I think a lot of us have been changed significantly for the better by marriage (and kids).

When I look at Todd, I think he is a lot like a pretty fair chunk of young blokes his age, a bit angry, a bit self destructive and still a bit unsure of his place in the world.

Unlike most young blokes his age he has a shitload more to lose. It is, however, down to him to decide how his life pans out.

Is that the same Bozo who stole half our team in the 80's after being on the payroll?

            Who cares what he thinks?

"Bozo" said exactly as I posted.

Ring 2GB and ask for the tapes if you don't believe.

Anyway, looks like Carney's gone, so you'll have your way.

Todd Carney's future at the Sydney Roosters could be cut short after club greats have their say

Ooooooooh, there's so much wrong in that photo.

              *
ROOSTERS powerbrokers are leaning towards tearing up Todd Carney's contract as the fallout from his latest drama continues to reverberate.

And in a further twist to the saga, ex-Roosters coach Phil Gould opened a can of worms on Triple M radio yesterday morning when he suggested Carney's actions in flaunting a team-enforced booze ban may have been deliberate.

The Sunday Telegraph has been told heavy-hitting Roosters chairman Nick Politis is close to wanting Carney out of the club after his latest drinking misdemeanour.

The Courthouse Hotel contract indiscretion takes Carney's tally to three off-field incidents for the year - that the public are aware of.

But the question many Roosters board members are asking is if he's been busted three times in public, how many times has he broken team protocol behind closed doors and got away with it?

'Another club will get Carney' FoxSports, 3 days ago

When Gould was asked about the Carney situation on Triple M yesterday, he said: "There's a lot of rumours coming out of that situation that maybe it mightn't be as accidental as it sounds.

One of the biggest areas of concern surrounding sacking Carney is what would become of him.

With the NRL under pressure to de-register him, what direction would his life take without football?

Given his issues with depression, the Roosters are well versed in their 'duty of care'. But club legends have echoed the view of fans and sponsors, telling it straight and hard. How many chances does Todd Carney deserve? And how many has he had?

"There's an old saying: you can't help those who won't help themselves," champion lock Ron Coote said.

Club icon Arthur Beetson insists the Carney situation never would have eventuated on Jack Gibson's watch.

"I know what would have happened if Jack Gibson was there," Beetson said.

"If he was the coach he probably wouldn't have even been there in the first place."

Jack was no 'angel'...who is...nor were some Easts players of the past.

Braith Anasta's heart is waiting at home

BRAITH Anasta has coped with a horror NRL season because of the happiness that awaits him at home - a stunning bride-to-be, a beautiful new house and a puppy called Snowy.

The Roosters skipper has credited his new fiancee Jodi Gordon - now living with him in their $1.9 million Bondi pile - with helping him battle through yet another scandal involving troubled five-eighth Todd Carney.

And that from the face of The Men of League org raising money to help RL stars of the past who need help.

Some people have problems, or no real idea how to help themselves when things go wrong in their lives.

Carney at the Titans is looking more likely with every passing hour.

                    Todd's dog is back home.

                    Todd's living somewhere, by himself?
Please don't tell me he's living with Myles, or any other players.
Todd can't even find a girlfriend let alone a 'stunning bride to be' to come home to.
His only friends seem to be the two shown in the photo with him.

                    Oh well, 2012 looms large.
Anasta will get his no 6 job back, Pearce will be half, and on we roll...'off a cliff' most likely.

Is that the same Beetson who could'nt put his differances aside and boycotted the Hall of fame dinner to which he was inducted????

Ever since he left he has been bad mouthing the place.

Ronnie Coote would hail it as a great day, if carney was sacked and went to Souffs.

                        Sandow left...funnier things have happened.

They could, as any other club could...do a Dragons and Gasnier...pay him peanuts in the first year and more in 2013 and 2014.
