I have relatives in Wagga & Hay, we used to catch up yearly at Tumut for a trout fish, always had good times there.

Some random sub-reserve grade, drug dealing player who isnt actually very big but in his local comp gets called a man mountain is hoping to play NRL in 2019. Even if we sign him, he will probably be below FPN and Silly Farmer in the pecking order. Yaaaay!!

Then we get on to the real meat of this topic... FLY FISHING IN TUMUT!!! Fark yeah. Mate I went fly fishing in Tumut. A mates (now deceased) dad owned an apple picking camp in Batlow so he went there during the holidays. I hit up the place during school holidays because mum wanted to get me off the computer (was farking cold and they had no heating) + we did a couple of hours of fly fishing with some local git. He charged us like $300 for the session, we caught nothing and I dont think we even saw a bloody trout. Woulda been so much farking smarter to go buy some smoked trout at some $$$ restaurant + a cask of goon and getting maggot in front of a warm fire. Alas, this did not eventuate. I did, however, go for a walk every morning and nick heaps of apples from the trees of the orchard adjacent to the guys farm (which were apparently full of pesticides that you're supposed to dip in some liquid first - I turned out okay though... sorta... at least they werent organic, then I woulda been farked).

Never said he was good or was going to play for the Chooks.In fact the guy was a ****ing idiot who thought he was king dick.Canberra recruiters were down here weekly watching him & he was telling the club he was moving on to play NSW Cup with Wyong,with a chance to play for the Chooks.Left the club & then owed a stack of money,stole all the furniture they gave him & now i believe hes in Melbourne
