The penalty against Radley for his great hit was ludicrous, as was the penalty against Mitchell for taking a player off the ball. Everything that could go wrong did go wrong, and the Warriors were awesome, and we probably would have lost anyway, but we were forced to make 100 MORE tackles than them and we were stuffed. The dropped ball was disgraceful and we certainly took them too easy but we certainly didn't get any favours from the refs. They did seem to be reffing us a lot harder than the Warriors, maybe I am biased but that's how I saw it,

Not saying it cost us the game, but IMO that was a textbook good tackle. Little man smashed a big man using technique and forced a knock-on.
It is our fault that we lost. However if I cN say one thing... with the refs blowing penalties for EVERYTHING, it is frigging annoying when they get it so amazingly wrong like this or miss something like Slater doing his stupid dive.
The hit on Reece Robinsons head when he was catching the ball in-goal was a joke. Early on there was a frigging try off what looked to me to be a strip. I felt that the Warriors basically got ahead off penalties in the first half (which smashed our completions down to ~30%). Then we adjusted our game (so gave them 10+ metres with every tackle while they were still allowed to have 4 or 5 men flopping all over us), became tired/clumsy and the flood gates opened when we got desperate.
To me the good news is that everything went the Warriors way, they played their best footy of the season, they had the majority of possession, we had a ridiculously low percentage of completions and they still only scored ~30 points. IMO with maybe 5-10% improvement we will flog them.Last edited by ism22; 04-01-2018, 07:51 PM.

Saw blatant forward passes by the Warriors that were not called back.

King Billy has been telling us for some time about the physical intensity of this guy's games as he approached seniors, particularly his defensive game.
The guy wants to win every play he is involved in, which i love to see.
Victor clearly wants to play first grade and play for Easts - exactly the sort of player that we need to support in his development at this club.

It was worthy of a penalty but there's no way it warranted being put on report but the only way the bunker can intervene is if it gets put on report.
Poor decision by the bunker, but give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they didn't break protocol and genuinely thought it was a reportable offence. Where's Archer when you need someone to confirm that the correct process was followed?

Hi all. Just offering opinion as a Warriors fan.
Radley's a good young player and reminded me of good Napa.
His hit on Sao was both great and made contact with the head.
Warriors played better but also got an easier ride from Perenara. I thought at the end of the 1st half we'd lose someone to the bin after 5 penalties in a row.
Luke could have got pinged for late and high on Cronk early.
It's hard to do a bazillion more tackles and have anything left for attack.
We won and will take it but you guys have a good team still.
But I'd put Manu outside Ferguson and give Reece Robinson one more week to suck again or improve.
Your pack is big and mobile just need to switch on which imo is 90% attitude.
Open to feedback and criticism and also banter or teasing about the Warriors previous 23 years of sucking or the deep breathing thing.

Penalty? Yeah.
Report? By protocol perhaps but otherwise sweet.

Whilst ever the attitude that was on show on Saturday remains, the warriors will go far this season.
Radley hit Sao in the head - penalty every day of the week. So long as such hits are always a penalty even when performed by players not wearing a Roosters jumper, then so be it."The price of freedom is eternal vigilance."
