In 2012 just, give me a team that will play their guts out each and every game with a sense of pride and loyalty. Regardless of results, I would like my daughter to know that through hard work and dedication good things can happen.

Yes, well said Platinum, I'd like that too yet I wonder if it's too much to ask for from the Roosters. Additionally I'd like to see the team improve as the season goes on and out of the papers for the wrong reasons. Silly me being so demanding."The price of freedom is eternal vigilance."

Agree 100% - my kid came home from school today devastated that once again her hero is in the news for all the wrong reasons.......sadly the old story of too much coin and too much time on their hands.
Seriously - what kind of knuckleheads are at the pub at 2am on monday night?

The problem is that the only time a team is recognised as giving 100% is when they win games. Whilst I agree with the sentiment effort will only keep the fans happy for so long. It is results that matter.
Look at Parra, how many games have they lost by a whisker but that don't count one iota.
I would like to not see the team in the paper for anything but their on field behaviour.....

I don't care if we lose close games, or get the spoon as long as they are giving it their all like most of the fans do.
(Well, I do, but I will accept it and cope with it).

Ask one of your mates who support Parra which team they would rather follow. A 'Death or Glory' team, or one that should be near top 4 on paper, yet somehow is 2nd last.
