So did we keep the right half? Lol
Pearce is right he really could have learnt nothing playing alongside Cronk

next time he runs his mouth about a crowd turning up, maybe he and his team mates should turn up

in all honesty i feel its a shame pearce didnt stay, hes a very good fg half , and maybe under cronk he could have really become elite, the origin seriesbar game 2 last year are not his fault, hell continue to be a good half at newcastle but prob wont make that next step , bit of a shame considering hes a good runner, defender and with a tweak or 2 a very good kicker

I feel like it was the right thing to do for Pearce's legacy to get away from Cronk otherwise he would have been seen as the guy who needed a superstar to help him out but I don't think he is good enough to do it at Newcastle alone. He's no longer our problem so I don't care what he does from now on really, he was missing in action tonight and I am so glad we belted the crap out of the Knights

What still scares me is the mere thought that Keary might have played off the bench had Pearce stayed.

          Imagine losing him!

          Would have been disastrous.

All qualities that come in handy to a hooker.

Pearce could of played hooker, but we were better off getting the cap space.

I hold no ill will towards Pearce. I even clapped him when he ran on the field. But I thank the gods he is no longer playing with us

Same here. I have wished him gone from the team for a long time, but still wish him the best (but never against us). I appreciated his brief humble smile in response to the crowd humorously jeering him when he dropped it on the fifth in the last quarter.

If Pearce was half they still would have won tonight - whether this was the right decision is still TBD

                            To Be Decided ?????

Cronk is twice the halfback Pearce is.
                            And I don't mean he's a fullback........................

I never saw you as a Crash Test Dummies fan Thracian.

Great win and the Cronk and Keary combination was most impressive tonight.
